I created three possible domain names to best capture the website’s purpose. The first was meetUTD, a combination of "meet" for connecting with other college students and "UTD" to specify the university. While this name effectively highlights the social aspect, it limits the audience to one campus and fails to reflect the broader travel-related focus of the website. As a result, it doesn’t communicate the site's primary function of promoting bus travel. The second option was gothere, which conveys a sense of movement and adventure. However, its generic nature makes it unclear what the site is about, especially regarding transportation. Without directly referencing bus travel, the name could lead to confusion, as it doesn’t hint at the specific service offered.
Lastly, I considered BusVenture, which strikes a strong balance between practicality and excitement. The name clearly promotes bus travel while also evoking a sense of adventure, making it both descriptive and engaging. This clarity helps users immediately understand the website’s purpose, setting it apart from the other options. BusVenture effectively communicates the essence of the site, making it the best choice among the three.
